Griffin Santopietro was born in Portland, Maine on January 5, 2005, to parents John and Kathy Santopietro. His father is a psychiatrist and the senior vice president of Hartford HealthCare.
Griffin was the middle child of three boys and followed the footsteps of his older brother, Max Santopietro, who’s also an actor! Plus, they have a younger brother, Beckett Santopietro.

He won the Best Overall Child Actor Award at Talent Inc. in Orlando, Florida, at only age 10, which kickstarted his journey into the TV and film industry.
According to Dr. John Santopietro, Griffin’s dad, the three boys often made home movies on an iPhone as kids, acting out Marvel movie characters or impersonating family members.
He mentioned, “When Griff was in second grade, he performed in a children’s theater program and he really transformed on stage, even at that young age.”
Griffin’s mother, Kathy Santopietro, helped him navigate the world of child acting, often traveling with him, as actors under 18 need to have a parent with them on set.
The young actor made his professional acting debut in 2016 with the crime documentary TV series Homicide Hunter and has since signed with Osbrink Agency in Los Angeles and Carson Adler Agency in New York.
